At this moment, I have at home two (one downstairs and one upstairs) Honeywell Thermostat model: T8401C (Digital non-programmable), I would like to upgrade my old one for the Honeywell model TH8320U1008.
I was thinking to do the terminal connection myself, but I wonder if I took out the cables from the old one, and put it in the same way in the new one... it is going to work?Change Home Thermostat?If your unit is heat only, the thermostat should have two wires (red and white). They usually give a toll free phone number to ask for help and advice. In general, the wires should be hooked up the same, but follow directions and/or call for aditional information. After intallation, turn the thermostate to a low setting and turn the furnace switch back on before you set the thermostate temerature. Follow directions.
