How can I change the battery of my home's Beutler thermostat?

Buetler is the name of a Heating and Air Conditioning contractor. Contractors often have their name and phone # printed on thermostats that they buy in bulk. If you can take the thermostat off of the wall plate you can probably find another Manufacturer name or model #. If this is a contractor branded thermostat it is probably acutally a Honeywell, White-Rodgers, Robertshaw or Braeburn thermostat. In any case theres a good chance that after you remove the thermostat from the wall plate you will see where to change the batteries if the thermostat takes batteries. Many digital thermostats are powered by the air conditioning equipment and do not have batteries.
