How do i change honda 1996 prelude thermostat and where is it?

follow top radiator hose to engine...thermostat is located under %26quot;gooseneck%26quot; usually 2 or 3 bolts...get thermostat and gasket or o ring ,,,before disassembly...quite easy...a small amount of coolant will leak out..catch in drip pan..(fatal to children and small animals) re assemble and refill radiator...How do i change honda 1996 prelude thermostat and where is it?you are most welcome...

1 buy new thermostat at wal mart

2 let engine cool

3 unbolt the little thing the hose is clamped on

4 pull thing off, remove old thermostat and gasket

5 make sure that surfaces that touch gasket are clean

6 drop in new thermostat right side up

7 install new gasket

8 put thing back

9 tighten bolts

10 add water
