How do i change a thermostat on a 1994 Honda Accord?

VERY VERY EASY!!!! If you have the thermostat, the housing where it goes is behind the distributor cap. Follow the top radiator hose to the engine block. That clamp you see holding the hose onto the block....THATS WHERE THE THERMOSTAT GOES!!! INSIDE THERE!!. Take the hose off, open up the housing and there is the old thermostat. Just pull it out. Wipe the dirt around the inside. Remeber you want a tight seal when you put the housing back together. Pull out the old thermo and place in the new. The spring faces the driver side of the car when you put it in. (optional-use a small amount of high temp silicone to put between both pieces of the housing.) Next put it all back together. DONT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS when putting it back together. Just make them firm and snug. Next put your NEW clamps over the radiator hose and put the hose back on. If the thermostat gets stuck open, the car will run cooler than normal (not so bad). But if it gets stuck closed, it will run hot, then overheat, eventually catch on fire, and fry the delicate aluminum engine block. Just trace the radiator hose to where it meets with the engine, and voila. There is the thermostat.
